Job Description
Architect and develop firmware and microcontroller subsystems for SoC products.
Implement major differentiating features of Astera Labs’ products.
Collaborate with customers to understand their firmware needs.
Debug and develop complex systems with a professional attitude.
Responsibilities
Design and develop firmware for embedded software solutions.
Utilize C or C++ for firmware development tasks.
Employ Python for scripting and automation processes.
Debug firmware/hardware issues using various lab tools.
Qualifications
Strong academic background in Computer Science or Engineering.
Completed co-op terms in firmware or embedded software development.
Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) principles.
Authorized to work in Canada for 4 or more months.
Preferred
Familiarity with testing tools like PyTest or GoogleTest.
Experience with CI/CD and software build environments.
