This co-op role involves lab and desk work supporting evaluation of technologies for vision systems.
Responsibilities
Assemble and test electro-optical systems for illumination and image acquisition.
Design, execute, analyze, and document experiments per the scientific method.
Perform technical writing and presentations as required.
Handle electro-optical equipment and assist in problem-solving tasks.
Qualifications
Completed 3rd year undergrad physics or engineering physics program.
Available for an 8-month co-op term.
Aptitude for experimental design and execution is essential.
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred
Experience with CAD software for mechanical design.
Familiarity with image analysis tools like Matlab or Python.
