Software Engineering Intern responsible for developing tools for Optical Network design.
Responsibilities
Develop software tools to assist in the design of Optical Networks.
Optimize systems to maximize data transmission capacity over specified distances.
Collaborate with the Link Engineering team on project requirements.
Test and validate software tools for performance and reliability.
Qualifications
Enrolled in a Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics program.
Strong Python programming skills required for software development.
Strong SQL skills for database management and queries.
Understanding of Data Modelling concepts such as Star and Snowflake Schema.
Preferred
Completion of a Communication Theory course.
Familiarity with Containerization concepts for software deployment.
Compensation
$25-34/hour
